How Half Front LHR Works
A detailed analysis of your skin tone (Fitzpatrick scale) and hair density is done to customize settings.
Applied only to highly sensitive areas (15 min) (e.g., bikini, underarms, face) for enhanced comfort.
Hair is trimmed flush with the skin to avoid burns and ensure direct laser penetration into follicles.
A detailed analysis of your skin tone (Fitzpatrick scale) and hair density is done to customize settings.
Laser intensity, pulse width, and frequency are fine-tuned based on the treatment area — especially for folds, curves, and dense patches.
Based on skin type and weather, either aloe vera gel or moisturizer is applied to soothe the skin, followed by a broad-spectrum sunblock for protection.
Pre Care
- Shaving: Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session.
- Hair Removal: Avoid all other forms of hair removal, such as waxing or plucking, for 4-6 weeks prior.
- Skin Preparation: Keep your skin clean and free from any products. On the day of your treatment, do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup.
- Sun Exposure: Strictly avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks beforehand.
- Health Disclosure: Inform your technician of any medications you are taking, existing skin conditions, or use of photosensitive drugs.
- Final Preparations: Avoid heavy exercise, hot baths, and exfoliation immediately before your appointment. Remember to stay well-hydrated.
After Care
- Soothing & Cooling: Apply cool compresses or ice packs (wrapped in a soft cloth) for 10-minute intervals to reduce swelling and irritation.
- Moisturizing: Keep the treated area hydrated with a fragrance-free aloe vera gel or a gentle ceramide-based moisturizer suited to your skin and the climate.
- Activity Restrictions: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and workouts for 24-48 hours to prevent inflammation.
- Sun Protection: Strictly avoid direct sunlight for at least 48 hours. After this period, apply a high-protection, broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen daily if the area is exposed.
- Clothing: Wear loose-fitting, breathable cotton clothing to minimize friction and allow the skin to breathe. Avoid tight garments, denim, or synthetic fabrics on treated areas.
- Healing Process: Allow the skin to heal naturally. Do not scratch, pick, or exfoliate the treated area.
- When to Seek Help: Contact your provider immediately if you experience severe redness, blistering, or prolonged irritation.

Results, who it suits, and who it is not for
- 1st–2nd Session~10–25% reduction. Hair grows slower; patchy, thinner spots appear in beard, chest, back, arms, legs, underarms, and intimate areas.
- 3rd–4th SessionNoticeably less regrowth. Hair becomes finer and sparser across all treated areas.
- 5th–6th Session~60–75% reduction. Regrowth is minimal, lighter, and patchy.
- 7th–8th SessionOptimum results (~80–95% reduction). Only fine “peach fuzz” may remain. Some areas may need touch-up sessions.
- MaintenanceOne session every 6–12 months keeps new hairs in check (especially beard, underarms, chest).
- Session Gaps (Medical Guidelines):
- Face / BeardEvery 4 weeks
- Body (underarms, arms, legs, chest, back, intimate areas)Every 6–8 weeks
- TipAvoid doing sessions too early; laser is effective only during active hair growth. Reschedule for the next due window; minor delays won’t affect results.
