Pre Care
- Pause Actives: Pause active skincare (retinol, AHA/BHA, Vitamin C, brightening creams) for 5–7 days.
- Avoid Salon: No waxing, threading, bleaching, or salon facials for at least a week.
- Daily SPF: Apply sunscreen daily to keep skin stable and protected.
- No Shaving: Skip shaving the treatment area within 24 hrs before your appointment.
- Clean Skin: Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, lotions, or perfumes on the treated area.
- Disclose Meds: Inform your provider about any ongoing medications or skin treatment.
After Care
- Avoid Actives: Avoid harsh actives (Tretinoin, peels, scrubs, waxing) until advised.
- Sun Protection: Protect skin from direct sun; use SPF + lightweight moisturiser regularly.
- 24-Hour Rest: No makeup, hot steam, or workouts for the first 24 hrs.
- Hydrate Skin: Keep skin clean, cool, and hydrated — drink water and use a gentle cleanser.
- No Deodorant: For underarms/body: skip deodorant or perfumes for 24 hrs.
- Hands Off: Sleep on a fresh pillowcase and avoid touching/picking skin.
