Scalp Micropigmentation
Overview
Reschedule Policy
Session 1: Foundation layer established 2-4 weeks later: Session 2 for density building 4-6 weeks after Session 2: Optional Session 3 for refinement Total treatment time: 6-10 weeks for complete results Immediate Results: Visible coverage and hairline definition immediately after first session, though pigment appears darker initially. Final Results (4-6 weeks post-final session): Natural-looking hairline restoration, seamless density enhancement, and permanent coverage of bald spots. Results appear like closely-shaved hair or natural stubble. Longevity: SMP lasts 4-6 years before noticeable fading. Annual touch-ups extend longevity and maintain vibrancy. Rescheduling Policy: Sessions must be spaced minimum 14 days apart for proper healing. Reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Results Variability: Individual results depend on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and adherence to aftercare. Oily skin may require more frequent touch-ups than dry skin.
Consultation & Design
Expert consultation to assess hair loss pattern, skin tone, and desired outcome. Custom hairline design mapped to complement facial structure and look age-appropriate.
Color Matching
Specialized pigments custom-blended to match your natural hair color and skin undertone, ensuring seamless integration with existing hair.
First Session Application
Initial pigment layer applied using micro-needles to create foundation. Strategic dot placement mimics natural hair follicle patterns across treatment area.
Second Session (2-4 weeks later)
Density building session adds depth and dimension. Adjustments made based on healing and pigment retention from first session.
Third Session (Optional)
Final refinement session for optimal density, color matching, and hairline perfection. Ensures complete coverage and natural appearance.
Touch-ups
Annual or bi-annual touch-ups recommended to maintain pigment vibrancy and coverage as natural fading occurs over time.

- One Week Before: Avoid alcohol consumption 48 hours before treatment (thins blood, increases bleeding) Stop blood-thinning medications if medically safe (consult your doctor) Discontinue vitamin E, fish oil, and aspirin supplements Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning beds on scalp.
- Day Before Treatment: Wash hair and scalp thoroughly with gentle shampoo Avoid applying oils, gels, or styling products to scalp Get adequate sleep for optimal healing response Eat a proper meal before your appointment.
- Day of Treatment: Arrive with clean, dry scalp free of products Wear comfortable, dark-colored clothing (pigment may stain) Avoid caffeine 2 hours before (can increase sensitivity) Bring hat or cap for post-treatment coverage.
After Care
- First 4 Days (Critical Healing Phase): DO NOT touch, scratch, or rub treated area Avoid water contact on scalp completely—no washing, swimming, or sweating Sleep on clean pillowcase, preferably on back to avoid friction No exercise, gym, sauna, or activities causing perspiration Avoid direct sunlight; wear loose hat if going outdoors.
- Days 5-10: Gently wash scalp with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free shampoo Pat dry with clean towel—no rubbing or scrubbing Allow scabs to fall naturally; NEVER pick or scratch them Continue avoiding strenuous exercise, swimming, and saunas Apply recommended moisturizer if scalp feels dry.
- Week 2-4: Resume normal hair washing routine with gentle products Avoid harsh shampoos, exfoliants, or chemical treatments Continue sun protection with SPF 30+ or hat coverage No hair dyeing, bleaching, or chemical services for 4 weeks Gradually return to normal exercise and activities.
- Long-term Maintenance: Always use SPF on scalp when outdoors (prevents fading) Moisturize scalp regularly to maintain skin health Avoid chlorinated pools without head coverage Schedule touch-ups every 3-5 years as needed.
