Pre Care
- Pause Actives: Pause active skincare: retinol, AHA/BHA, Vitamin C, brightening creams, or peels 5–7 days prior.
- Avoid Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, threading, bleaching, or salon facials for at least 1 week. Do not wax or use laser treatments on the face for at least 1 week prior
- Daily SPF: Apply sunscreen daily to protect and stabilize your skin.
- Clean Skin: Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, lotions, or perfumes.
- Medical Disclosure: Inform your provider about any ongoing medications or skin treatments.
After Care
- 24-Hour Rest: No makeup, hot steam, or workouts for the first 24 hours.
- Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure; use SPF 50+ and lightweight moisturizers.
- Gentle Care: Keep skin clean, cool, and hydrated — use a gentle cleanser and drink plenty of water.
- No Fragrance: Avoid deodorants, perfumes, or harsh products on underarms/body areas for 24 hours.
- Hands Off: Sleep on a fresh pillowcase and avoid touching or picking the skin.
- No Swimming: Avoid swimming (chlorinated or salt water) for at least 48 hours.
- Avoid Actives: Skip exfoliating products or harsh actives until your provider advises.
