Reschedule Policy

1st –2nd Session ~10–25% reduction. Hair takes longer to return, patchy thinner spots. 3rd –4th Session Noticeable less regrowth, thinning, finer hair. 5th –6th Session ~60–75% reduction for most. Regrowth is sparse and lighter. 7th –8th Session Optimum results for most people (80–95% reduction). Only small, fine “peach fuzz” may remain; some areas may need extra “touch-up” sessions. More than >8 Unusual unless: PCOS, hormonal issues, facial treatment, very coarse hair; then 10–12 sessions may be advised. Maintenance: For most, one session every 6–12 months after optimum results keeps new hairs in check (especially face, chin). Medical guidelines for session gaps Face: Sessions should be done every 4 weeks (not more frequently), based on hair growth cycles. Body (underarms, arms, legs, bikini, chest, back): Sessions should be done every 6–8 weeks. You should not do your next session too early—doing so doesn’t improve results because you need enough new hairs in the active (anagen) phase for the laser to be effective. Ideal: Rebook for the next “due” window after every completed session: 4 weeks (face), 6–8 weeks (body). Realistic: If something comes up, you can delay/reschedule—you won’t lose results unless you delay for many months.

Step 1
Skin Typing Assessment

A detailed analysis of your skin tone (Fitzpatrick scale) and hair density is done to customize settings.

Step 2
Optional: Numbing Cream Application

Applied only to highly sensitive areas (15 min) (e.g., bikini, underarms, face) for enhanced comfort.

Step 3
Shaving the Target Area

Hair is trimmed flush with the skin to avoid burns and ensure direct laser penetration into follicles.

Step 4
Conductive Gel Application

A detailed analysis of your skin tone (Fitzpatrick scale) and hair density is done to customize settings.

Step 5
Laser Calibration & Zonal Adjustment

Laser intensity, pulse width, and frequency are fine-tuned based on the treatment area — especially for folds, curves, and dense patches.

Step 6
Post-Treatment Care

Based on skin type and weather, either aloe vera gel or moisturizer is applied to soothe the skin, followed by a broad-spectrum sunblock for protection.

Pre Care

  • Shaving: Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session.
  • Hair Removal: Avoid all other forms of hair removal, such as waxing or plucking, for 4-6 weeks prior.
  • Skin Preparation: Keep your skin clean and free from any products. On the day of your treatment, do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup.
  • Sun Exposure: Strictly avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks beforehand.
  • Health Disclosure: Inform your technician of any medications you are taking, existing skin conditions, or use of photosensitive drugs.
  • Final Preparations: Avoid heavy exercise, hot baths, and exfoliation immediately before your appointment. Remember to stay well-hydrated.

After Care

  • Soothing & Cooling: Apply cool compresses or ice packs (wrapped in a soft cloth) for 10-minute intervals to reduce swelling and irritation.
  • Moisturizing: Keep the treated area hydrated with a fragrance-free aloe vera gel or a gentle ceramide-based moisturizer suited to your skin and the climate.
  • Activity Restrictions: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and workouts for 24-48 hours to prevent inflammation.
  • Sun Protection: Strictly avoid direct sunlight for at least 48 hours. After this period, apply a high-protection, broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen daily if the area is exposed.
  • Clothing: Wear loose-fitting, breathable cotton clothing to minimize friction and allow the skin to breathe. Avoid tight garments, denim, or synthetic fabrics on treated areas.
  • Healing Process: Allow the skin to heal naturally. Do not scratch, pick, or exfoliate the treated area.
  • When to Seek Help: Contact your provider immediately if you experience severe redness, blistering, or prolonged irritation.
